phew...its half time in prelims! as in...realli half time cos i've jus finished 3 out of 6 days of exans.and already i feel like shit sia. so guys..forgive me for being too agitated here yea?
prelims sux...really.i've been practicing maths for the past 3-4 days..whatever i can find on integration i've done it.but in the maths paper...i can't do the integration question! actually..i could. i did half...and got something plus an I, which is correct. but in all the practice i had i had nvr touched anythin to do with an I, i forgot what to do with the I !! man...to say unfair!! i swore i did over 60 questions for integration in practice and it comes to this!! worst of all...after doing both njc papers for the past 2 years and the cjc paper in the booklet, i found out a common trend : no complex numbers. And even if complex numbers is to come out, its jus about drawing circles or bisectors, and that's the thing i could do (the last test with complex numbers, i got full marks for that part!haha), hence i didn't touch complex numbers and instead focused on...integration. shit thing was...complex numbers came out! and...it had nuthing to do with the circles or bisectors! jus some formula i din know existed! piang! what hell..and every1 knows i didn't touch ap, gp and summation...and it came out !! haha. but of cos..kenneth still rox!haha..can't believe u didn't do 70 plus marks worth of questions la..u're the smart one le!!haha...but nvm la..u stil have 4 subs lor..unlike the rest of us.haha.all e best man!
econs was not much better. The night b4, i disobeyed the law of all exams : sleep early the night before a big paper, especially if there are 2 big papers comin up the nxt day. the whole night i slept only for 1 hour : from 430 to 520 in the morning.what did i do? i went to study the common topics like inflation, taxation, price theory, balance of payments, international trade, market failure and macro objectives of econs. pretty much eh? well..took me 5 hours to do it. ofcos i studied my pass papers and stuff...so that took me 7 hours. but guess what...there's none of my favourite topics or the more common topics accordin to last year's 'A' lvl paper in this prelim paper!! Sharon ong told her class to study wages and market structure and stuff...sayin sth like "both topics haven't been coming out for the pass 2 years in 'A' levels, thus we think it may come out. and prelims are to prepare you for 'A' levels...." that's as good as providing an answer key la!! but the shit is...my teacher daniel wong said nuts to us! talk abt fairness! so in simple words...7 hours of work has been wasted.
because of 7 hours on econs...i hav 0 that night for physics. after the econs paper we gathered in the library (dunno why its still called the library..it should be called an auction house or a stadium with the noise) to study. but honestly..how are u gonna put the entire physics syllabus into your head with the econs stuff still inside?! i had abit from studying during the early part of the week...but i forgot most by the end of econs paper..so i was in pretty deap shit.the physics paper ( simon tan said it was an easy paper...and teai said sth like they don't dare to test us anymore..so that means the paper is easy rite?) was not as difficult as i tot..but definitely not easy!! alot of conceptual work la...like what the hell am i supposed to do with a dumb eagle flying at 20m/s ?! the worst thing (my life do suck) is...section B of the paper requires 40 minutes...i couldn't see the damn clock as i was sitting all the way at the back of the hall..and u all know i dun carry watches or alarm clocks or grandfather clocks for that matter...thus i'm left with relying on the speed of ppl arnd me to gauge the time and the guy on my right was the man sia..and so i thought! out of 6 questions of section A we were to choose 4...and when i finish my 4th..the guy on my right was still not done with his section A..so i tot there's still alot of time left since he was still in section A. but when i looked up...the clock read sth like 4.10 or 4.15pm...and the paper ends at 4.33pm!! that guy beside me already finished section B la!! piang..i'm stupid!haiz...this is not fair..
haven't slept a proper night since the start of holidays..and i stil haven't have that luxury!last nite wanted to slp..but man u was playing sia..so no choice had to get serhwee to wake me up. and he did..jus for me to sleep again once he put down the phone.hahahaha.i'm good sia..but the good thing is this : Trailing to first-half efforts from Cris and Pierre Frau, van Nistelrooy, ably assisted by dazzling Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo, dragged his team back into the game in five stunning minutes after the interval. WOOHOO !! who's the man!haha.but the draw was kinda sucky la..could do with a win but come to think of it.away draw with lyon rox even if its jus a draw...considering juventus triumph through nedved screamer and Real Madrid's defensive frailties resurfaced in spectacular fashion on Wednesday night as they were comprehensively beaten by Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena. its not comprehendisively beaten lor...its totally thrashed!! its so embarrassing i'm going to burn my real jersey if they dun win their nxt game by more than 1 goal!! ofcos..liwapoo won la...cos of their me-lan ba-lo lucky stuff...but it was an interesting night in europe no doubt!
guess i'm done here la..gotta get back to studying (oh man...think i'm putting in alot more effort than most ppl are at work earning $$ lor..and atleast they hav $$..i'm having bad luck!) but the thing is...guys if u have time go flip the classified or recruit part of the papers. found out how many jobs actually only require things like "secondar 2 education" or "o level" or "minumum diploma"? and some of these jobs earn you $2000 plus la...of cos plus bonus but hey..u don't see anything there that has sth like "a level education required" or sth...is 'A' lvls useless? hmm...food for thought? i need food for my stomach now...peace out peepz! all the best for the remaining papers and lets go have tonnes of fun in sentosa!! yeah!
